NCLB Research Reports

Since the passage of NCLB, various governmental agencies, organizations, and researchers have written reports on the impact and implementation of NCLB. This section provides you with some of the major research reports that go beyond a particular provision of the law, with a broader, more comprehensive perspective. This section provides only a sampling of the reports and research that has been compiled, but is representative of the work that is being done in attempting to determine if NCLB is working, and if not, what the consequences of the law are on public schools, teachers, parents, students and the community. The reports provide best practices, instructional findings, community models, and recommendations for improvement. For reports and resources are more narrowly construed, please look under the "Resources" section of each of the Action Briefs.
